So where is the fort? A quarter mile up there? and we get there how?
Wow, now that's a trip up. 1/4 mile straight up, 1/2 mile "rope way" ride up. That makes the sail boat ride seem very safe in comparison. Kinda gives you a warm feeling knowing that they were able to build this at a third of the previously quoted price. The alternative was a 2 hour walk each way up to the fort in the 100 deg. heat. OK so now we can see what we risked our lives for.
OK, so it was l lot better being there. A lot of the internal buildings must have been wood and all that can be made out are the footings. The view was incredible on top of this mountain. Thinking about anyone attacking this fort is hard to imagine. Well we have enjoyed the forts and caves we visited and have found them fascinating but threes other things to see and do, there only farther away. Monsoon season will start soon and it will cool down and green up. As they say "Stay tuned for more".
